PEOPLE WITH GOOD FRIENDS & LAUGHTER LIVE LONGER!
Welcome to Cheyenne Social Singles Group Almost 40 and Beyond! If you long to belong to a "singles community" of wonderful people who like to get together and "do life," this is the place for you. If you are looking simply for a "dating group," this probably isn't the group for you as that is not the focus of this group. Dating happens, but it isn't our focus. You never know! ;)
If you are up to spending quality time with great single friends, then you have come to the right place. Some activities include: board games/card game nights, poker nights, movie nights, dinner at local restaurants, home parties/dinners, out of town adventures, theater, plays, dancing, sports events, coffee, home parties, book studies, hiking, camping, comedy clubs, walking and/or other exercises. The sky's the limit.
Some of the activities are age appropriate for those who may want to include their children. We know that our families are important to us, and we have many family friendly events. Usually family friendly activities say so. Feel free to ask.
We have had the pleasure to make new friends via meet up that have made positive differences in our lives, and we want more of that. We encourage you to come and see what it's all about! Spread the word! The more the merrier!
There's simply no easier way to enjoy a ski or snowboard weekend than to join the Cheyenne Ski Club. Our alpine trips are usually on chartered bus to a downhill resort, so all you need to do is sign up, then show up at the bus with your gear. We'll handle the driving and accommodations for you, and even provide some tips on getting the best lift ticket prices.
Our Nordic program continues to gain in popularity, and these smaller, more intimate trips tend to fill rather quickly. With group cooking and carpooling, they have a distinctly different feel than do the alpine trips.

Hashing is a world-wide semi-athletic / drinking / social club based on the old English schoolboy's game of "Hare and Hounds". It is centered around drinking and is non-competitive. I often describe hashing to my friends as "a bunch of grown-ups playing hide and seek with beer." Others say we're a drinking club with a running problem. Running is loosely used to mean running, jogging, walking, crawling or any other means of conveyance. Every Hash and every Hasher is unique in their own way, a good attitude, personality, thirst, humor and a sharp wit are important attributes. There are 3 parts to a hash, the "Hash," the "On-In," and the "On-After. For more detailed information, check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hash_House_Harriers

Hi, I have a 5 year old son and we just moved from So. Calif. to Cheyenne 2 months ago. I have decided to start a group so we can find some parents, single, married, divorced....with children! All ages are ok, I think the diversity of different ages is good for the kids. I would like to have playdates, holiday parties, potlucks, anything that we all can get together and have some fun! I am also open to volunteers, this is my first time starting a group so bear with me! :)
Americans Elect is a movement to allow every registered voter to find and directly nominate the first nonpartisan presidential nomination. We're using the Internet to break the gridlock in Washington, open up the political process and give every single voter—Democrat, Republican or independent—the power to nominate a presidential ticket in 2012. Your voice matters. You decide the issues. You choose the candidates. And now, you can meetup with other people to help make it happen. Join this Americans Elect Meetup Group to get involved locally with other folks in your town.
This is a group for people interested in all aspects of video and film. We meet monthly to talk and plan new projects. It's a great way to network with local film makers in your area.
Do you enjoy scrapbooking or other crafting? Would you like to get together in the company of friends to socialize while you're crafting? Wouldn't it be great if getting together and crafting with friends also helped make a difference to those around us who are less fortunate? If you answered yes, then this group is for you! Join us once a month, bring your favorite crafting project, a friend, and most importantly, an item for charity (like canned goods, paper products, personal hygiene items).
